Lockdown Drill Today
Posted Date: 10/20/26 (02:30 PM)
Dear Esperanza Families,
Today the school conducted a practice lockdown drill. To ensure drills are as productive and valuable as possible, we do not make students and staff aware the lockdown is a practice until after it is conducted. Your children experienced this as a real lockdown. Once the drill was complete, we informed the campus of the practice status. Safety is a priority at Esperanza, and this activity allowed all of us to practice many aspects of our emergency plan. I am proud of the students and staff for their outstanding actions and behavior during the drill.
We want to reassure you that all is well at Esperanza. Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Aaron Buckley
Assistant Principal
